About the Client
Location: Taiwan
Kun Shen University (KSU) is a university in Tainan, Taiwan marking its 60th anniversary, known for its commitment to applied education and innovation. To kick off its next chapter, KSU launched the Department of Interactive Media and Digital Entertainment — a new program covering AI creative tools, VR/AR/MR, AI motion capture, animation, and game development, placing KSU at the forefront of Taiwan’s growing digital entertainment industry.
Challenge
Launching a new department centered on interactive media meant the stakes for the announcement forum were high. University leadership needed a setup that looked sharp, ran smoothly, and reflected the spirit of the program — without complicated installations.
Looking further ahead, the department also needed classroom tools to support active, group-based work and fit naturally into a creative learning environment.
Solution
KSU chose the Innex CM55 — a 55″ all-in-one interactive display with built-in camera, mic, speaker, and Pcap touch, mounted on a mobile stand.
At the launch forum, several CM55 units were lined up along the sides of the room, giving audience members seated at the back a clear view of the content alongside the main projector screen at the front. Their slim design and mobile stands made setup simple — no fixed installation needed. As the university principal and department chair spoke, the screens showed background visuals, videos, and presentation slides, giving the event a clean, professional look.
In the classroom, the CM55 shifts into collaboration mode. Students can gather around the screen, sketch out ideas directly on the display, and build on each other’s work in real time. At the end of class, notes are saved digitally and taken with them — no paper, no information lost.

Results & Benefits
- Forum stage set up quickly with no permanent installation — the CM55’s mobile stand made placement and adjustments easy
- University leadership delivered a polished presentation backed by dynamic visuals on the CM55 displays
- One product, two use cases: event display at the forum, collaboration hub in the classroom
- Students write directly on screen, work together in small groups, and leave with digital notes ready to use
- Built-in cam, mic, and speaker keep the CM55 ready for hybrid classes as needs evolve
Impact
KSU’s 60th anniversary wasn’t just a celebration — it was a signal of where the university is headed. By equipping both the launch forum and future classrooms with the CM55, KSU gave students in interactive media a tool that works the same way they do: hands-on, flexible, and built for collaboration.
As the Department of Interactive Media and Digital Entertainment grows, the CM55 will be there in the classroom, in group sessions, and wherever students come together to create.
